Shrimp Meal


Our shrimp meal is a 6-3-0 organic plant food and soil amendment with 100% slow release nitrogen. Made from shrimp shells, shrimp meal is perfect for edible and flowering gardens.

"Kite'N Rich" shrimp shell meal 6-3-0 plant food breaks down by microbial activity releasing plant nutrients essential for healthy plant growth resulting in abundant flower and fruit production. "Kite'N Rich" shrimp shell meal 6-3-0 plant food is rich in Calcium which is essential for strong cell walls. Rich in organic matter (56 % Organic Matter) for improved water retention in your garden or patio containers.

Shrimp Meal can be added to a garden any time of year but is normally worked into the garden soil in spring ahead of planting your garden - or in the fall as you prepare the garden for winter.


Vegetable and flower gardens: In spring, apply 1 kg (contents of this container) of 6-3-0 "Kite'N Rich" per 20 meters2 (2 X 10 meters) and work into the top 5 cm of soil.
For established perennial gardens: apply 1 kg of 6-3-0 "Kite'N Rich" per 20 meters2 (2 X 10 meters) and work into the soil around plants.
For containers, hanging baskets and flower boxes: add 10 grams (2 teaspoons) of 6-3-0 "Kite'N Rich" per liter of potting soil.
After fall harvest: Work 1 kg of 6-3-0 "Kite'N Rich" per 20 meters2 (2 X 10 meters) and work into the top 5 cm. of soil for a richer garden soil in the spring.
This fertilizer should be used as part of a complete fertilization program based on the fertility of the soil. Keep away from pools, ponds, and other bodies of water. Keep out of reach of children.
Disposal Procedures: DO NOT re-use empty container. Dispose of empty container in household garbage. Dispose of waste according to provincial regulation in effect.
Precautions: Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin & clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Contact may cause allergic reaction. Store container tightly closed in a dry area away from children, pets and food. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.

First aid

Contact with eyes: Flush with plenty of water and obtain medical attention.
Contact with skin: Wash with soap and water.
Ingestion: Obtain medical attention.
